Two stalwarts of emotive trap and pain music, Future and Juice WRLD, link up for the woozy and colorful “Fine China.” The single is a proper and strung-out heartbreak anthem for the boys next door. Juice WRLD dominates the track with lines about being enamored with his girl, but also easily collapsed when heartbroken. His achy state is as relateable and charismatic as ever. Future jumps in with his ocean-deep vocals, giving some contrast and texture to the track. 

There’s something playful and easy about “Fine China,” reminiscent of the days when pop punk love songs were enough to cover the full spectrum of emotion. A massive movement in itself, Juice WRLD is obviously on to something as he continues moving music forward. As the latest wave of emo rap continues to take over hip-hop and move music forward, the Future co-sign is yet another reminder that these kids are not going anywhere.
