Special Person is a reflection of the realities many Nigerians live with daily; insecurity, economic hardship, political manipulation and the gradual normalization of dysfunction. Through raw storytelling and honest commentary, the song explores the emotional weight of living in a society where fear, hunger and uncertainty have become part of everyday life. It also challenges the false sense of exemption that often makes people believe societal problems will never reach them personally. Rather than existing as outrage alone, “Just 12” is meant to provoke reflection, awareness and participation. It is a reminder that democracy is not only about leadership, but also about the responsibility of citizens to remain conscious, engaged and active in shaping the future of their communities. This release is accompanied by a 3-day campaign leading into Democracy Day, centered around reflection, responsibility and the refusal to normalize suffering.
