In an exquisite blend of Afrobeats and modern African pop, singer and songwriter -Afro Wonder tells us a sonic story of a woman he is falling for. He titles this one “African Lady” and he takes us on a journey, describing the harrowing extent of his desire for his love interest. Afro wonder is known for fusing smooth soulful melodies on African inspired instrumentals and he does not fail on this piece produced by Meshe. The track retains the essence of a deep cultural chant-like folk-song that has also been used by Omawumi for her Bottom Belle smash hit. “African Lady” can be thoroughly enjoyed through headphones or blasting from loudspeakers, thanks to the crisp mixing and mastering service of STG.
