Chicago artist FRANK LEONE returns with two new jazz rap singles to christen this 420 season. ‘FROM THE JUMP’ is an Archie Shepp inspired duet between FRANK LEONE and saxophonist Kevin King about keeping one's feet planted in the storm, reuniting the "YOUR NIGHT, OUT" producer, vocalist, and horn player. ‘2021' is a somber homage to the storm that hit Frank last year when three of his friends lost their lives to suicides and overdoses. "It feels like I've lost a friend my age every year of my 20's. Sometimes in the pandemic I feared death alone could bring me back to writing. It was a frightening feeling I spentthe last year combating through the brightest, sunniest music I could imagine."
