Alright, so I was going through this sample pack and i found the original sample, (which I don't know what the name of the sample is, it happens when you download random sample packs, hopefully I don't get sued) then I just kept playing it from the start and realized it was exactly what I was looking for. So, I made the drums around the beat, then wrote the first two verses and then I felt like the beat needed to switch up for the third verse so I started to reverse the sample, extend the sample more than I had for the whole song and all kinds of stuff. Then the next day I ended up just writing a poem and realized the poem would go good as a third verse, and then BAM!
