After undefeated superstar boxer Jaron Ennis made his way to the ring last September on Showtime TV walking out to DC's Nilo song "Shining", the DC native who has scarcely released music has vowed to give his listeners exactly what they have been asking for. When asked about his inspiration for the song, Nilo states: "They say death can break a family apart, and I know this too well after losing my mother. During the time I recorded this song I was dealing with a lot of family issues, a legal case, and partially homeless. With all of the obstacles thrown at me, a real "Stepper" never gives up and always sees themselves prevailing through it all.
