Fusing modern Jazz, Experimental music, poetry, and Hip-Hop, "Overflow" introduces Satchy's new style. Each song is a contemplative voyage through an otherworldly terrain. The EP explores overconsumption's social and emotional effects, using the title as a metaphor for information overload. Recorded solo on Ableton after "Warm Absence," Satchy layered individual musicians’ contributions. Based in Pasadena, Satchy has worked with Zulu, Eyedress, and more, earning acclaim from FLOOD Magazine, Brooklyn Vegan, and Afropunk.
