"Slow Motion" is a slow, sensual cruise built on unapologetic 90s R&B — warm bass low in the pocket, brushed drums, harmonies drifting past like streetlights over a windshield. R&B artist and Broadway star Phil. rides shotgun, answering Penn with the breath control of someone used to holding a room from a stage. The love they're driving toward asks for composure, not speed. Longing has never sounded so patient — or so worth the drive.
