This was truly an experimental collaboration. Just good friends finally getting together to create some heat and try something different. And that we did. Sly and LD made the beat from scratch and we wrote the song in about 30 minutes. It's so unique; I'm not going to lie, at first I really didn't hear myself on it, but everything flowed so effortlessly. I definitely stepped out of my comfort zone with this one and I'm so glad I did. Because of this song I realized that I definitely fit into the Alternative, Indie-Pop genre more than I do RnB. I really just love creating and trying new things and this collab just felt authentic and right. We named it "San Junipero" because it reminded us of the iconic "Black Mirror" episode. I hope you feel the vibes like we did. (:
