“BABA WEMA” is a Gospel song that tells the story of a man whose beautiful name does not reflect his character. Though his name suggests goodness, his life is marked by alcohol abuse, irresponsibility and neglect of his family. The song carries a message of self-reflection, reminding us that a good Christian name should be accompanied by good character, responsibility and faith in action.
