‘Test Me’ was first recorded in my voice memos app on May 1, 2021. This was after listening to the sermon ‘Beta Blessings’ on January 24, 2021. Other bits were also recorded on the voice memos app, most of which came to me while I was taking a walk on July 5th last year. The long run-on ‘Yes I finna be ready’ came to me while taking a shower and listening to the song ‘Old Church Basement’. I reached out to Annas Isa to work on the song with me. His brother, Kopji ended up free-styling on it too.
