In Dec 2023, Beezyx sent me a beat and all I could sing was “I’m coming up” over it. From there, I built the song around identity and growth, 'repeating my name' even when it’s hard for some to pronounce. It became an affirmation that what God has blessed can’t be taken away, even when I don’t feel like I’m coming up, but in surrender. I added trumpets this year after finding a 2-year-old clip of me singing the hornline and it was the perfect final touch. I’ve performed it live since June 2024 and am so excited to finally share it with the world!
