This summer is one of healing for many reasons: America is opening, movie theaters are full, concert dates are releasing, great music is releasing week after week, and for many – love is in the air. For Ejay Mallard, the pandemic has been a long road filled with ups and downs – the culmination of both injected into the lyrics of “Reparations,” the mid-tempo third and last single from his upcoming project. In the track, Ejay reunites with one of Houston’s soon-to-be brightest stars, Mynd. Their previous collaboration on “Ruin Me,” was much darker than this time around, going from them both crooning about “wanting to feel pain” to them now singing about their realizations of what their past loves have done for them.
