Following the July release of “Home,” The Skints’ first new single from their upcoming SOUR TOOTH album, they now bring “Pressure” as a second taste. Life can be relentless and does not wait for you to catch up. “Pressure” conveys that feeling, as the arrangement keeps building tension until the end, with one gentle voice trying to be heard, almost desperately asking for a moment of respite. While the first single was a blast of 90s alternative rock energy, this one is a complete flip in tone; taken together the two songs continue to provide a great glimpse of what to expect with this album: different styles, musical variety, filled with The Skints’ requisite authenticity throughout.
