Dronne’s new afrobeat song “Jeje” is a lush and lively track that showcases the beloved genre in all its glory. Produced by StringsBeat, the song stays true to traditional elements of afrobeats while also incorporating modern production techniques like synth overlays and drum samples. The groove-laden instrumental creates an immersive atmosphere with beautiful chords played over rolling percussion sections. Lyrics are sung throughout but remain restrained so as not to overpower the driving beat underneath them, providing a subtle backdrop for this toe tapping tune. Jeje is sure to be an instant classic among fans of afrobeat music!
