Fortified By Grace is my thank-you to God at 40, twelve songs for the grace that has carried me this far. I wrote, composed and sang every track, pouring in the choir, percussion and strings that melt my heart. We begin with Lift Up Your Hearts, then dance through Igbo praise in Kamtochukwu, Chimkalifa, Abum nke Chukwu and Agunechemba. At the centre is In My Father's House, my song of rest and belonging from John 14 and Psalm 23. From there I rise into thanksgiving with God is Great, Thank You Lord and Song of Joy, and close with a Kamtochukwu refix to bring the story home. This album is my testimony: honest, joyful and deeply cultural. Press play, lift your hands, and count your own miracles with me.
