Dr Adaku and Ikeoha have just released a new single, "Daalu," an emotive song that is all about gratitude and appreciation. A fusion of modern and traditional Igbo highlife music, the title, "Daalu," means "thank you" in Igbo and is a fitting name for a song that expresses gratitude in every note.

The combination of Dr Adaku's soft vocals alongside Ikeoha creates a harmonious and uplifting sound that is sure to resonate with listeners of all ages. Ikeoha, also known as ‘Emmanuel Ikechukwu Umeonyirioha’ was the first Igbo lecturer at the University of Oxford, he brings his extensive knowledge and understanding of Igbo culture to this song giving it a unique and authentic sound that is true to the roots of Igbo highlife.    The live guitar sound make it feel you are right there in the room.
