WYA is the first record Knock did entirely on his own with the exception of @elijahmusiq playing live 🎷. It's a feel good record with Jazzy undertones and heavy Jamaican influence. Lately, Don Knock has been finding himself going back to his roots quite a bit. He spent some hours writing the lyrics, producing the beat, recording the song and mixing this one in the confines of his home studio.⁠
