Built on the concept of desvuelo (a flightless, grounded limbo), BOARDLESS tells the 15-track story of a relationship fractured by deportation from the perspective of the partner exiled to South America. After five months in detention, the narrator is stranded in a purgatory of poverty, shattered screens, and delayed rescue flights. Connected only by a volatile phone line, they navigate the agony of being left on read, survival struggles, and the betrayal of a partner spiraling in the U.S. Oscillating between fierce hatred and raw devotion, the narrator demands restitution while fighting to reclaim their worth. Across 15 tracks, BOARDLESS captures the collision of love and venom across a digital divide, moving from grounded despair to sovereign rebirth.
