Desarae Dee's new EP, “SELF” has 5 instrumental canvases that represent her current journey of healing and as an instrumentalist and a black woman, it’s important for her to share her story and experiences. “SELF” is redefining who she is through self care, self love and self reflection. “CARING for yourself is important, LOVING yourself is key and REFLECTING on yourself helps you grow,” is her personal affirmation and reminder that making herself a priority is vital to her healing process. Through these instrumental canvases, Desarae wants to encourage others to take the time to heal, find healthy ways to address and navigate their personal struggles and most importantly - learning to be okay with and everything that makes them who they are - the good and the not so good.
