This song was composed by Iyiola Oluwademilade, a music minister of the Goodnews family, guitarist and musicologist. Opelope Jesu lyrics was inspired by the spirit of God through the instrumentation of a track released by Johnny Sourou (Ogbe To Jesu Me) but not in the Yoruba language.
