Deesick is a Nigerian alternative pop, EDM and rnb artist. This latest project "Sickness SZN" is broken into three volumes. A move that the artist believes is necessary for thorough digestion and appreciation of the themes and abrupt stylistic shift that is to be found on the project. The first song on this volume of the record “KOMPANY” is a chill Afrobeat / Highlife inspired jam about love and the wanting of it. The nature of it is deliberately simplistic, enjoyable and easy to get into. The second song “CHANGE” comes with a different meditative / inspirational mood, married with elements of Ambient Electronic music. It is a song about the jettisoning of failure and bad energy, in search of redemption and success in life.
