"After creating an experimental and atmospheric sound in Mildew, I wanted to approach my music in a more rhythmic direction. I started looking to improve my drum programming as the next step in my production, so I began working on that craft while collaborating with Roy Blair on his album back in January. After coming home from that trip as well as finishing up two headlining shows in New York and LA, I began making music that had a good bounce and that would translate well in my future live performances.
