Kachifo is a song about dealing with loss, the reality of how it impacts us and how we grow from it, how grieve never completely goes away but slowly fades into our subconscious and finds ways to resurface every now and then through the unavoidable everyday events that may trigger it. It’s a song about losing a friend in 2018 and how I have moved from deep grief to continue to learn that while the journey of my friend is complete mine is still in progress and I have to apply myself to my journey
