For this song I wanted to take samples inspired by Burial and bring it to my own style. I've been a huge fan of Nujabes since I first heard his music, and lately noticed that Burial's sound shared this characterictic melancholic feeling, only that Burial's tends to be more obscure, while Nujabes' is warm. Also, 'Luna' is composed in 3/4 rhythm, giving the song, and specially the drums, its own pace and flow.
