"Ayekoo" is a Ghanaian word which is used to congratulate people for a job well done. In August 2023, my siblings and I gathered to remember our late mother, 28 years after her burial. We cried and laughed about our memories of her, reminiscing the joy, laughter, and the good times we shared. It was on this note that I wrote this song in her honor. Also, to laud all mothers for their unconditional love, resilience, and the invisible mental load they manage daily. To every woman out there who took or is taking care of a child, I say AYEKOO, I SALUTE YOU DEAR MOTHER FOR A JOB WELL DONE.
