The Unlocked 2 Mixtape is the second installment to the ‘Unlocked Series Mixtapes’ conceptualized by Boka and Carbon Casca. Unlocked 2 is set to be released March 9 , 2017 in commemoration of the death of Christopher Wallace(Biggie Smalls) March 9 , 1997 and features 14 tracks written by Boka and produced by Carbon Casca. As compared to the Unlocked Mixtape, Unlocked 2 has no features, includes a new pop, EDM(Electronic Dance Music) and G-funk sound but still preserves conscious lyrical delivery and relatable storytelling. The overall feel of Unlocked 2 is more upbeat, high tempo, fun, ‘vibey’ and isn’t concentrated that much on passing a message but making enjoyable music. Unlocked 2 will be available for stream/download on various digital platforms.
