This song is different from anything I've ever done, yet, at the same time, I think it has something for everyone. While writing it, I was inspired by the emotional pull someone or something can have over you. It's one of those things you know is no good for you--is trouble--yet, you're nearly powerless to fight it. I actually thought of True Blood, and the way Sookie felt about Bill for so long. I think we've all experienced something like this; whether it's a person, a place, or a thing.
