Cupid Strike is a love song for the current times, as we're all experiencing the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic and have our lives restricted. I wrote this song in my room, feeling somewhat trapped. Music has always been an escape for me though and this song is intended to take the listener on a journey, so they can escape into the story of a guy who has fallen for a girl and is desperate for the feelings to be reciprocated. Even asking Cupid to assist in his pursuit.
