D song came from d burning desire to allow God lead me(us) in all spheres of life knowing fully well that if we walk alone(thats doing our will) we will end up missing out God's plan for us. And that's disastrous. Just like d bible said, there is a way that seemeth right to a man but d end thereof is destruction.
