Unlike a lot of musicians, Brumeh "Brum3h" Oghenekaro didn't grow up with dreams of singing on big stages, he first started singing in the children's choir of his church. A shy and somewhat small child, he preferred the safety of putting his feelings on paper as opposed to telling people how he felt. He continued to do this until his first year of university, when he was convinced by his friends to compete in the now defunct MTN Project Fame reality talent show, after two simultaneous rejections he chose to focus on pursuing his career as recording artist, it was during this period that he met with producer turned friend Golddrummachine and together they formed "To Name A Few" a musical duo that that made a genre they called "Alternate Soul" creating songs like "Stay Over" and "Based" in
