Boasting 10 tracks total with production from Chuck The Archduke, Craft Beatz and Piff Beatz, Later Than Expected finds Blake handling the majority of the lyrics on the project. The only features come on the love at first conversation story Wedding Song (feat. Larayne) and Starstruck (feat. Self Curry & Internal Quest). Every track with the exception of 1 was engineered and mixed by Blake’s longtime engineer Internal Quest of Jersey Sound Lab. While Later Than Expected showcases Blake’s hunger for rhyming, it’s his vulnerability that is the star of this project.
