Edo. G & Insight Innovates embrace the thoughtful and meditative message of their collaborative new single, “It Takes Progress” taken from their forthcoming, self-titled LP. As Insight explains, the track is about more than simply highlighting societal issues; it’s about inspiring the change necessary to make a difference. Both he and Edo sound as inspired as ever with sharp rhymes over Insight’s minimalistic yet soulful production. It’s no surprise, then, that each artist points to this track as one of their favorites off their forthcoming collab, which is due out May 28 via DSPs, CD and blue vinyl through Brick Records.
