In August of 2015, Castro’s cousin was suddenly and fatally caught in the crossfire of a drive-by shooting in Washington, DC. His cousin was 23— the age Castro is currently. Throughout a/B vol. II, Castro opens up about his cousin’s death, explores his grief, and asks how to move forward. All of the proceeds from the first month of sales/streams will be donated to the Violence Policy Center, an organization focused on minimizing gun violence throughout the United States.
