New Orleans held a special place in our hearts; I proposed to her on a quaint stoop in Pirates Alley. We always stayed at a hotel in the quarter – it had private balcony on Toulouse, right next to Bourbon St… the edge of the party. After her passing, my neighbors shared with me, they missed hearing her infectious laugh from next door.
