Blindfold Music is a music label which originates from Sierra Leone, West Africa. As per it’s unique name, it produces a distinct sound filled with richness, reflecting on the originality of the African Music. With the gradual development, since birth of music in pre-historic Egypt , Africa has seen it’s offsprings reach offshores influencing many to dance and merry to the sound, echos and vibrations of it’s mother. Blindfold Music is proud to be a part of this journey In globalising the African sound. With a major influence of Benga Music in East Africa, Kwaito - South Africa, Mbalax - Senegal, Soukous - Congo, Afro-beats in Nigeria, Chaabi from North Africa and Maringa from Sierra Leone, it is with a ‘FIRM FIST AND A BLINDFOLD’ that i say “Blindfold Music is the future.”
