Sometimes I smile just to hide the pain, Fighting battles nobody knows by name. I gave my best, but life still said no, Now I’m learning how to heal and grow. I lost some people I thought would stay, And some dreams slowly faded away. I’ve had nights when my heart felt cold, Wondering why life had to be so hard to hold. I trusted some hearts, but they let me down, I searched for love, but silence was all around. Still, I wake up and keep moving on, Hoping someday all this pain will be gone. Life may be heavy, but I won’t lose my way, I’m still holding on to a better day.
