God does not love you more than he loves the person that died in an accident, do not capitalise on the misfortune of others (who are also Gods children) to determine how grateful you should be. . . Be constantly and consciously grateful to God for his mercies in your life, looking at the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross, and thanking him for the unmerited favour he has given to you knowing that you are alive by his grace. . .
