Inspired by a true life experience, my encounter with a girl who expected a relationship on her terms led to unfounded accusations and hurtful labels. The misconception that men cannot turn down advances from women is a damaging stereotype that undermines the importance of mutual respect and individual boundaries. In response to being unjustly called gay for asserting my own preferences, I am motivated to bring this story to life through “My Spec”, a project aimed at empowering individuals to embrace their unique preferences and communicate them openly.
