Amarinthe

I'm Stephanie Castro, assuming the mononymous name Amarinthe to represent my music. I'm a singer/songwriter and bedroom producer from Tracy California. I began singing and writing at a very young age but was finally able to produce my first single "Contact" and EP "Black Pain" from my bedroom with very limited resources. I draw inspiration from bands such as AJR, Twenty One Pilots, Ben Rector and Evanescence. My writing style is tailored to the hardships I've struggled with over the years. I've battled anxiety and depression like so many others across the world, and have been fighting chronic pain for multiple years. I hope my message of 'hope' reaches my audience and anyone else willing to listen. My music means absolutely everything to me and I hope it's reflected by what you hear.
