Originally from Sierra Leone, West Africa, Amarie Farari born as Alpha Umaru Kabba.Came to the U.S at 9 years old,and now considers the northside of Chicago his new homeland. Amarie Farari’s entrance to America was less than glamorous. He was a full fledge refugee after his father was shot in the arm by Sierra Leonean rebels (A civil war was going on back then and that is why he is here.)
