I was learning to program in java for a bit, but python is really just the best and easiest language. I understand there's certain things you can't do with python, but for my purposes it's all I need really. Also hopefully when I eventually make a game, I'll be using godot which uses GD script which is basically just python, but cooler. If you want to make a video game I highly recommend using godot. I also highly recommend asking me to make music for your game, because I will do that in a heart beat.
