I wrote “My Reality” on a really sad day. I was going through a lot mentally, especially losing friends and people I thought would always be around. Maybe it was because I was changing. Maybe because I was growing into a different version of myself. Either way, I started realizing that sometimes growth comes with losing people you never thought you’d lose. And the crazy part is, from the outside, I probably looked completely fine. I could smile. I could laugh. I could talk to people like nothing was wrong. But there was a lot happening underneath that smile. So I started writing. I wasn’t trying to make a song that sounded perfect. I was just putting my reality into words; the loneliness, the confusion, the changes, the things I couldn’t really explain to anybody. That’s how “My Reality” came together. It’s basically a piece of what was going on inside me at that point in my life. And now it’s yours too. 🩷 Experience this journey with me.
