Accent

Accent is a storyteller, rapper and former street performer from New York City. Early on in his career, Acc rapped for change in the East Village, busking on St. Mark's Place and in Union Square Park. During his time he advanced his craft as a performer and freestyler, and also learned to shed his artistic inhibitions and embrace his vulnerability as a man. With the voice of a born-rapper, Acc details his powerful lived experiences through his technically-advanced lyricism and poetic songwriting, which creates a truly unique sound. In 2017, his EP The Last Lyricist garnered over 500k streams and featured collaborations with Slaughterhouse’s KXNG Crooked, Skyzoo, Kinetics & One Love, and underground legend Benefit.
