BABA is one of the most personal songs I have ever written. This song is dedicated to my late father, whose love, guidance, prayers, and sacrifices continue to shape my life even after his passing. Through grief, memories, and faith, I share the pain of losing someone who can never be replaced. The song reflects on the reality of death through the Qur'anic verse: "Kullu Nafsin Dhaa'iqatul Mawt" "Every soul shall taste death." (Qur'an 3:185) But beyond the pain is a prayer—a prayer to meet again in Jannah, a prayer for mercy, and a reminder that some people never truly leave us because they live forever in the hearts they raised.
