"I was sitting around one day and thinking about where I come from and where I am now. From the age of 18 I moved away from my hometown (Rockwood, Tennessee) to pursue a college education. After college I found my moving to North Carolina to aid relief efforts in Haiti. Since my move to North Carolina there are days where I just miss being home. I sat down one day and the song just started coming together and the song was created. I learned a few many lessons, broke a few hearts and had my heart broken a few times growing up in a small town."
