It’s hard to find a voice that does the album justice. To paint my soul on paper or to tell a story about a feeling I tried so hard to forget. The album is about sorrow and grief. Loosing someone knowing that a piece of you is gone along with them. Knowing you will never be the same nor will you ever get them back, so you spend the rest of your life with an aching feeling in your chest that won’t go away. It’s a hole in your heart. A pain unimaginably straining that gets you asking yourself whether the life is worth living.
