A Prayer of Gratitude "Lord Jesus Christ, I come before You with a joyful heart to thank You for the gift of this beautiful day. Thank You for the light of the sun, the breath in my lungs, and the peace that comes from Your presence. I am grateful for the moments of beauty I witnessed today—the kindness of others, the wonders of Your creation, and the steady hand of Your protection over me. Thank You for Your grace that sustains me and Your love that never fails. As this day draws to a close, help me to carry this spirit of gratitude into tomorrow. May my life be a reflection of Your goodness. Amen." Reflective Verses If you’d like to pair your prayer with Scripture, these verses capture the same spirit of thanks: Psalm 118:24: "This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." 1 Thessalonians 5:18: "Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."
