“City of Gods” is a collaboration between Fivio Foreign, Kanye West, and Alicia Keys and is a triumphant ode to Fivio and Keys’ hometown of New York City.

The song also features adlibs from Atlanta rapper Playboi Carti, who similarly was featured on “Off The Grid.” The song’s chorus, sung by Keys, interpolates the chorus of “New York City” by The Chainsmokers.

Featuring drill-inspired production, akin to Ye and Fivio’s previous collaboration “Off The Grid,” snippets of the song circulated in early 2022, during private listening parties held by Ye.

Although it was speculated that this would be the lead single for Fivio’s upcoming album, B.I.B.L.E., Ye included “City Of Gods” on his eleventh studio album, DONDA 2.
