Most of the lyrics from this song were inspired by my ex. It always just felt like there was a brick wall between us, and when certain conditions weren't in place we just couldn't get along. For this song, I'm narrating a tale of two lovers who never seem to get along unless there's a party or some drinks where they are. The guy tries so hard to gain her attention, and after a night out drinking they get into a car accident on the way home. In contrast to the dark lyrical theme, the instrumentals are pretty upbeat. You're greeted with the central bluesy riff before the pounding blues rock drums come in. The rest of the song literally feels like a ride, increasing in intensity until it gets to the crux at the end of the song ! Lots of guitar licks and tasty guitar solos on this one.
